Pharm.D - Nizam Institute of Pharmacy.

Pharm.D is a Six year integrated (UG+PG) course. This course is affiliated to JNTUH, approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and introduced in the year 2014 in NIP. Pharm.D is aimed to give thorough knowledge & skills for pharmacy practice in India. The course is oriented towards the patient safety & therapeutic benefits. We have collaboration with MAXCURE hospital for hospital postings where the students will be assisting the doctors and offering various clinical pharmacy services. The students have access to CLINIREX (a online tool) which helps them with digital documentation (Drug information, reports, log books, research articles, retrospective analysis..etc)

Vision of Pharm.D is to provide excellent advancement of pharmaceutical knowledge through teaching, research, and service in a supportive and caring environment that enhances the attainment of educational excellence and the highest standards in professional and ethical practice.

The Department seeks to achieve excellence in the education and training of Pharmacists ,equipping pharmacy graduates and post graduates to meet the present and future pharmaceutical healthcare needs of the country in all spheres of pharmacy, viz. communities /retail, hospital ,industry, academic and research development and indicates to prepare highly qualified graduates capable to apply the pharmacy practice in compliance with global standards and conducts innovative research and scientific studies in basic and applied pharmaceutical sciences.

The doctor of pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree is earned by those who have had the class room and experiential education necessary to prepare them for broad based general clinical practice. The following professionally specific and general ability based outcomes have been endorsed by the pharmacy faculty for all SSRCP Doctor of pharmacy graduates.
